Expect to read a fault like: "crosslink articulation fault"

Here what cause this:
implausible articulation symptoms may be caused by an un-calibrated height sensor. Check for height sensor DTCs and refer to the DTC index.

I have similar symptoms in my lr3 2005. I can drive maybe kilometers in good condition asphalted road without problems. Then small bump on the road can lit the suspension fault yellow indicator. Restarting clears the problem and driving can continue until next bump.

I think this all started when I tried to service the leaking front valve block. Opened the valve and just cleaned it. Everything seems to work fine. After some 15km driving the suspension fault indicator turns on.

Yesterday the car dropped down during driving (first time for me). Stopped, restarted and let it rise again. Then removed the suspension fuse and could drive 20km back to home without problems.

Today drove some 40km. Suspension faults keep on coming but car didn’t drop down even when the fuse was in place.

Front valve block should be now in better condition than it was before. Somehow my repair has caused car to be sensitive to bumps.

Read somewhere that battery/fuse should be disconnected before disconnecting any connector in the car. I have removed the front valve connector few times without disconnecting battery/fuse. Maybe some kind of system reset would be needed?

Alternatively there could be new electrical contact problem somewhere.

Error code car gives is c1a20.

Front valve block seems to be still slowly leaking so I ordered new one.

c1a20: pressure increase too slowly while refilling air tank

So not related to your problem

Now I’m only getting the c1a20 code. Only throws when I drive on rough / uneven terrain. Driving on smooth pavement / streets is fine.

Very similar with my case.

Sidestick, I guess you are right.

Read fault codes again. Found some new codes:
C1A32
C1A31

Some threads in forum propose a wiring fault. Need to check/fix those first.

Neutral Update:
Studied the wiring on Monday 6th. Couldn’t find any visible fault.

Since Monday car has been running without fault indication. I believe there is still fault in wiring but that is only temporarily disappeared.

Could Nedarb2’s problem be related to wiring fault also?

I suppose it could be possible that height sensor reports wrong voltage due to wiring fault (in this case telling corner is too high). Car then tries to compensate that by releasing pressure (only on that corner).

Update... still fighting this but I think I’m getting closer.
Got the gap tool.
Found out I can NOT control the front left shock.
It raises and lowers because the front right works, and the cross link valve lets air go to the front left.

No faults related to valve block or cross link valve or anything.
Because I can’t control the valve, and no errors tells me the car thinks it’s working, I believe I have a wiring issue. Started tracing the wiring from the control valve back tonight. So far I have no found any problems and all sections of wire tested so far for continuity are good.

Can anyone help me with where the connectors are for the front valve block. Specifically I’m trying to find the connector c2560. I found a connector above the front right headlight (I’m left hand drive remember) but I don’t think that’s the right connector, there’s pics online showing it as behind the Front left hand wheel liner or headlight. I took out the wheel liner and no plugs anywhere. Havnt removed the headlight yet but looking in from the wheel liner I don’t see anything.

Also can anyone confirm where the eas ECUs is. I have found lr3 manuals showing it both under the drivers footwell and passengers footwell which is making me confused....

Thanks

The eas ECU can be as indicated but depends on whether its LHD or RHD. It is on the RH side of the vehicle (if sitting in the vehicle) on the "A" pillar.

No faults related to valve block or cross link valve or anything.

Go to live data and check the front left height sensor value, if it moves like the right one you are on the wrong way
