Hi stuart,
If You want to make sure without buying new, You could interchange the front struts, then make the fuse testing over night.
If one side is bad, it must be the other side dropping then.
If You are lucky, and it was just about the mounting of the air lines it will be it, if it is the same side, its some where before the strut.
You will have a knowledge gain for sure,,,and if it's just, that You know what kind of ratchet spanner would be nice to have, when You change these elements....
When I'm remembering right it's a 15mm ratchet spanner with a swiwwel, or what You call it.
And: don't cut the airline. Release the nuts, let it drop carefully - airline still connected - and then there's enough space to do the work on the brass fitting.
Spray it before, together with 3 nuts...and it should "turn"out good.

markland

many thks for the great info

going to start getting the inner wheel arch liner out either this or next week, can then start having a look at the pipes , will only take 5 x mins to quickly cut in the pressure gauge and can then monitor it over night

good idea ref the swapping of them, but i imagine to would just replace them , don't know if there the original or not

don't know what there like to take off, don't look too bad, lol

famous last words

will indeed put the progress here so it may help anyone else

thks again
