Suspension Woes !!

Morning One and All
I got the dreaded normal suspension only available bong on the dash last week ! Which initially i could reset with turning on and off the ignition ! Shocked

Called out LRA and they found that it has blown the main 60 amp suspension fuse which he changed , and said that i better get main dealers to check out the circuit, so i have booked it in ! But have to wait a week for a booking Shocked Shocked

The LRA guy was saying that he has never come accross any probs with the D4 suspension pumps as they are a different design to the D3 Rolling Eyes

The fuse has since blown again !!!but lucky he left me with a few spares which hopefully will get me through till my appointment at the dealers Sad

Has any D4 owners had any similar problems ??
Hope i am not going to get the same suspension woes i had with my D3 !

Must have been the same LRA guy who came to mine 18 months ago. Laughing

Pump was replaced and no problems since. Thumbs Up

LTB00420 Changing Compressor Hitachi to AMK

Hi,

there is a service bulletin from Land Rover which lets the dealer replace the compressor from former Hitachi to AMK if the customer complains about suspension errors. The following VINs are affected:

MY2010+2011:
Discovery 4/LR4 – AA513326 to BA589534
Range Rover Sport – AA215623 to BA708097

MY2012:
Discovery 4/LR4 – from CA603568
Range Rover Sport – from CA725318

The change will be done under warranty - my LR4 has a new one. Wink

My D4 went in to Williams Manchester this morning they rang at dinnerish to say that the pump had been sticking intermitently which was the cause of the fuse blowing. Shocked

So they have replaced the pump for the new type Very Happy
