Suspention dropping overnight

My car is an 06 TDV6 with 102000km on the clock. It is running out of motorplan very soon,so I am checking everything. To check the suspention I disconnected the batter and let the car stand on a level surface. After 24h the car dropped 15mm evenly at the front, nothing at the back. After 48h it dropped another 10mm at the front, nothing at the back. So,over 48h it dropped a total of 25mm.Is this normal or should I make an issue of it?
Anything else I should check??..........the car is running fine otherwise.
The lower control arm bushes was checked and the one on the righthand side was replaced.....both the front arms lower control arms was replaced 15000km ago!!Not very good..........maybe next time I must concider the heavy duty bushes of the armour model!!

Hi Frans,

Dropping is not harmful but in the mean time it is not normal either.
Your compressor will have the car up in normal height in a few seconds after starting and you will not have any issues when driving. If you do a search on 'suspension +sinking' on here, you will find numerous topics on this subject.

The problem can be cured but there are many possible causes.

I would certainly report it to the dealer. If mentioned within warranty period, I don't think they can tell you it is not covered when it expires.

regards,

Wiljo
