Swapping engine bay wiring loom

Hi all can I use a MY2007 auto loom on a MY2005 manual vehicle I'm looking to fit a heated windscreen and realise that part of the loom is missing from my car. Would it be easier to swap the whole loom or repin the part of the loom required into the existing loom any help or comments appreciated, Thanks.

Move the wires over I would think.

But I don’t know how long the loom is.

Thanks for the reply Pete K
It seems to be about 4ft of loom needs to be extracted the fuse box side seems straight forward to de pin but find the plugs on the inside of the car may prove difficult as I will have to get up underneath the dash

The whole loom is a big, big job to replace

Goes behind the dash on both sides, round the inner wings, and along the front, then back towards the height sensors on the chassis

I've done a few of them now, and it's not something I look forward to Laughing
