Taking Out Rear AUX

I need to get jiggy with my AUX Port in the centre consul. Does the plastic part come away from the rear easily?, if so how?. I think mine needs replacing / tightening

Cheers

Had problems with the Ipod Aux only playing through one, or all speakers.

Took out the Aux socket and 12v socket..

Took off the rear electric gizmo...

Looks like where the 3.5mm plug goes in at some point the lead has been pulled and has bent the opening of the socket, so only some of the plug connects. Wiggle it to the right and all the plug works fine.

I'm off the get a new part tomorrow!

Thanks Wiggs
