I asked all the questions, but to be brutely honest she's arrived early, the DP was aware it was coming early but didn't tell me as their workload is backed up.

I guess it's fair, and this afternoon I am off to to a look see., at least I'll have something to look forward too in the New Year

And it will be registered as a January 2012 vehicle, rather than a 2011 one, meaning it is "newer" for future trade-in purposes!

Here in Ireland of course, there will be lots of vehicles arriving now that deliberately won't be registered until January, because our registration plates change at the start of each year! 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Just make sure they don't register it until 2012. You would lose a months tax and some extra depreciation. Nonsense of course, but also true.
