Needs to be from a Discovery 3, ideally with the same gearbox as yours

Can be coded and calibrated, but will always log a VIN error

A brand new one isn't as expensive as you'd think Thumbs Up

Hi Mikey sorry for the late reply. I didnt realise you had posted. So I bought a couple of tccm's all allegedly from Disco 3's. They both throw up all kinds of communication faults, see below.

Im wondering if the tccm's just arnt compaitble with my vehicle? As when i plug my original tccm back in the comms faults disappeared and I was left with clutch actuator fault and a sensor fault.

Now im 99% certain the sensor issue is because it needs calibrating again. I tried to calibrate it and it went through but without the clutch mechanism moving then the error popped up. Originally it was just range not available befor i tried calibration.

Ive tested the clutch motor circuits and the sensor circuit and its good. Motor moves when put power to it etc.

Ive also tested the pins for the clutch circuit on the tccm itself and they were a dead short. So convinced the tccm is faulty.

I spoke to Gap and they think its a wiring issue but im not so sure. Can circuit is 63ohm ?

Where would i get a new tccm from and how do i ensure its the correct one?

Mine a early 2.7tdv6 rrs btw. Cheers Gareth

Orginial tccm is the bottom one in pics. The other 2 i bought give coms faults
