Cam belt, rear fuel pump belt and front aux belt all changed yesterday for a total of £318, which I'm very happy with (3.3 hours labour charged). Apparently the rear belt was a nightmare bacause one of the bolts had seized on, and there's no room to swing off it, but all sorted in the end. I can highly recommend Westley's of Helston - a very knowledgable independent garage who knows his D3s.Previously:

Need mine doing too. Got a B service done at Hatfields in Liverpool. Just over £300. Asked how much for the TB and they said that they didnt know off the top of their head but did say that they just did one on a RangeRover Sport for £1200. That put me off. Also quoted about £1000 for the front track arms, front track rod ends, front lower ball joints and rear anti roll bar bushes as there was " slight play. " Just been MOT'd and these issues have not been mentioned!!!

Any ideas how to tell if the belts were replaced. I bought my D3 at 120 000 Km and the last two services were done by a less than desireable mechanic.
Had it serviced 3 times since and nobody has mentioned anything.
Not that I trust my mechanic at the moment. (Just had the intercooler hose blow 3 days after the service)I will go anywhere, as long as it be forward. David Livingstone

I've just had my rear aux drive belt changed at 88k because it started making an annoying noise. Does that mean I only have to worry about the front cam belt when it gets to 105k? It would be nice to know I've already cut the price in half.2005 D3 HSE 2011 D4 Landmark 2016 D4 HSE Lux
