Terrain Response - Staying in "Grass-Gravel-Snow"

Our TDV8 FFRR has begun defaulting to "Grass-Gravel-Snow" mode, ie, even after being switched off, the vehicle will be in GGS mode when restarted. This was useful when we had snow, but not now.

The local dealer suggested (without looking at it, to be fair, and whilst saying they haven't had anyone else with the same problem) that it might need a new switch panel. Given that the switch still allows switching between the different modes, I'm not convinced this is the actual problem.

Anybody had similar issues with their D3, RRS or FFRR?

Sounds like a computer glitch - try a 'hard reset' followed by clearing any DTCs ...

I remember reading that GGS is the only TR setting that will remain active after ignition cycle. So if the switch is faulty, restarting the car will not cure it.

Success!
Did the "hard reset" this afternoon. It started up in GGS, but after being switched back to normal mode it didn't switch back again when restarted, so all appears correct again.
Thank you Mr (Mrs?) Spooky.
