If yours has keyless entry then an easy solution is probably not very far from you in your home right now....

remembering which tin you put them in could be challenging, mind

Doesn’t it need to be a non-ferrous metal?

if I saw that situation

I would press the remote for the park heating

then eat the Carmel cup

then take the keys, its not much of a deterrent a Carmel cup Whistle

I have used a quality street tin to repair our old lawnmower deck in the past, so they are very versatile thing to have around though Laughing

Thumbs Up

Would advise being careful. Tried various tins without consistent success before I bought my faraday key pouch. Whatever you use, take the sealed container out to the vehicle to check you can't open the car when it is sealed. I found that sometimes a tin would block the signal and sometimes it wouldn't. Probably depended on exactly how well the lid was sealed.
Cheers

The Faraday bags are so cheap compared to the disruption and stress of having a car stolen, so why not just buy 2, one for the main key and the other for your spare?

Just remember to occasionally check the bags are still working, as I guess their protection will break down over time.

Regards,
Steve

Agreed. Check the pouches regularly. Mine were less than a year old and stopped giving protection. The worst part was the wife told me and I ignored her, so when I realised it was true, it took some getting past!
