Tie and Date settings question

Hi all,

bought a new GAP tool yesterday and was wondering if I can change the time/date settings on the car with it? I can't currently use the screen as I have an issue with the MOST system Big Cry

Pretty sure the Bluetooth module has failed.

The bluetooth module on my wife's Freelander 2 failed. It caused the infotainment system to keep flickering on and off. Changed the module and all is now well. The module was only £30

I wish I was that lucky, mine is around £125-£150 to replace Big Cry

In which case, try a Most bypass and see if that cures it

Yup, that’s the plan. Hopefully that’ll confirm my suspicion before I buy another module Wink

Did you check the fuse? The fuse on which the BT module is, blows rather easy... i have it often, when just plugging in and out the BT module.... (i was experimenting with DAB module, another BT module, etc..) i did change it 3 times i think...

No fuse, no current...no MOST, in my mind fuse 58 (but can be 56) ....

Maybe D4 has different fuse lay-out...( numbering) . but principles are the same...
 Best regards
Harold

Great question and I hope that there is a way to do so.

On one of our Discovery 4's we've had the factory sound system upgraded to an aftermarket Pioneer headunit with wireless Apple CarPlay capability <https> so are no longer able to set the time and date on the vehicle via the entertainment systems menu system.
