Well you have to remove the rear fuel belt
I found you had to remove the rear belt plastic housing so that it can be removed with the cam.
One of the bolt/stud threads is very long and a right pain for Access
You also need to melt an Area on the rear belt housing to gain access to undo the end cam cap
Maybe I put a link in your original thread for instructions

Thanks for that, looks an absolute nightmare. Manifold can stay in place though just unbolt from the head?

Is the rear drive belt cam pulley sprocket reverse thread or just really tight?

Normal thread.
I left it on there and removed the cam and plastic cover as one piece
Neither option is easy.

I've left the turbo in place, just the support bracket to remove now. That's tomorrows job, once the manifold pulls away the head should lift off.
For anyone reading this, this job is extremely involved, if you can hire a lift and remove the body, if I had more ceiling height I'd have done it differently. I'd read access was tight but this is something else... I've done various rebuilds on other cars and have a decent set of tools in a fairly tidy workshop but it has me considering if I should tow it to a garage to drop a new engine in.
Pete K thanks for your help today invaluable!

If you have a replacement head you may as well continue.
Didn't realise you would need to remove the turbo support bracket
