Top 5.. Tools .... for your Disco
Having had a few discussions on my MOST favourite/used/Essential toos...
I thought i might ask everyone what their TOP 5 tools are?
Mine does vary slightly when I think about The Discos vs my classics... my No.1 is probably the same as many other forum members.. essential on the D3/D4.. totally useless on my Triumphs
So here we go..... my own personal 'Top 5 Tools'
1. Gap iid
2. 4T 2 post ramp
3. Breaker Bar(s)
4. Impact Gun
5. Halfords pro Socket set
There are a few other universal essentials like my DMM, WD40 etc and Cups of Tea..
There might also be a place for naming that rare bit of kit tat you only use once in a blue moon.. but when you do its worth every penny.... for me its my Mig Welder (i use it a LOT.. just not on the Discos!).. and a set of Metricinch spanners.
Some tools lie idle for years.. before being dug out.. and performing in a blaze of adoration and joy 1 TR6 Rusting away quietly

My small Halfords Pro 1/4" socket set with wrench, socket screwdriver and bits is almost pocket sized and yet seems to do the job for 90% of the things I need to tighten, assemble and fix around the car and the home D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten
