I have a very similar problem, the nav and audio system resetting with a crack. It is like the battery has been disconnected as the radio clock goes to 00:00. If it does not reset it locks up, has anyone got to the bottom of their issues and can give me any pointers on what to check?

You can hear a loud crack when you reset the head unit through the secret menu, I've forgot the routine for entering this menu but I believe Wiggs will know how.

JMC - did you get this one resolved?

Would be interested to know what the fix was?

Thanks

Graeme

Phil - apologies for delay in responding.

Thanks - being a bit dull, what exactly do you mean when you refer to the "head unit?

thanks again,
