| Spotted - Red D3 Balmoral Rd Karratha Western Australia |

OK, own up. There are five D3's that I know of at or near Karratha. Two White, one blue, two silver and today I spotted a red one. It is kitted out for touring and it was dirty! D4: Expedition Rack, 104 Litre Long Range Tank, Raised Air Intake
D3: Every bloomin' thing but the kitchen sink

White seems to be a very popular colour for a D3 in Aus , is there a reason ?
or do you guys just like white.

Yep, there is a perception that white cars are cooler, but also, they don't show up dirt and grime as much as coloured cars do. Where I'm living now gets to 40 Celsius most days for about 6 months of the year. D4: Expedition Rack, 104 Litre Long Range Tank, Raised Air Intake

Red Dog, now there's a fun book. Spent an excellent weekend in Karratha once, pretty hot though. Managed to take a Commodore off road and see some good rock paintings.
