RE-upholstering? anyone installed better leather???? |
|
As many may already know, the leather or padding, ot something in the lr3 seats leaves a little to be desired considering the cost of this thing. In the US my 07 HSE reatails for about $56,000 usd. The leather has been photographed by many people in various parts of the world because it tends to get "baggy", loose, or otherwise crappy very soon. I had a modern Range Rover that had fantastic leather but also my 2004 Discovery seemed better at least on holding it's shape..
I plan to find some salvaged Range Rover seats to retrofit into the lr3! That would be great. Short of that I will have these refitted and hopefully more confortable. Maybe I am too lean to appreciate the wealth of space in the seat but I loved the Discovery seats.
Any ideas on having these refitted with better leather and internal padding? I could just place the sheepskins over them but it's not my preference.
Thanks. 96 Disco I, 210,000 miles - still going strong
