[Sold] Robbie's Tree & Rock Sliders For D3 or D4
After fitting my latest set my original tree & rock sliders are available for purchase. These are an excellent set of bars that were refurbished by ProSpeed before fitting to my D4.
The surface finish achieved by ProSpeed was incredible and as such there is very little of the damage you would expect for a lump of metal that sits under your Discovery in all conditions.
The bars are very solid and have no dints or scratches with only minor stone chips and fine swirl marks giving their previous use away. I have touched-up with hammerite smooth as I have gone along. The inside face of the bars was protected by a wax corrosion inhibiter which I have cleaned off ready for a fresh layer.
I can supply grip tape if anyone would like to add it to the bars to provide a more secure surface to step on.

The bars are large and heavy and not an item I would wish to have couriered as the skill in wrapping required to prevent transit damage would be beyond me. Personal pick-up is strongly recommended, or the forum network, with tea and coffee available at Robbie Towers!
Price to forum members will be £320.00, but if my wife asks you paid more. Equally if your wife asked, you paid a lot less.
To avoid confusion priority will be given to potential purchasers that post in the open forum. Appologies in advance to those who have already approached me via PM but I consider a normal sale to be fairer to all - it also gives you a chance to change your mind!
