Rapidly approaching 100000km mark (93000) and dealer has arranged to look at intermittant air bag warning light. They say it is a trapped wire under the centre console and need to strip down. Steering wheel fancy fake leather seems to be coming apart at the top so will have them look at that.
Are there other things I should be looking at before it presents next Tues? Comments welcome. '05 Silver Commercial S+ gone but never forgotten

Most likely the trapped airbag wire is under the seat (TSB out for this). IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver
SA - 07 VW Golf TDI - White - Sold!

I might be tempted to make sure the steering has no knocks or play (possible rack wear / column play, bushes etc), park brake works OK,suspension & compressor works ok, tyre wear reasonably even, diffs /prop shafts etc aren't noisy, and on manual boxes,be sure you have no clutch issues, although it may be considered wear & tear at this stage if you did, and all electrical / electronic things are working correctly. These are just a few things that some peeps have had issue with at these kind of mileages and less, it doesn't mean they all will of course, just my view of a few things that could cost a few bob to put right later.
