There are 18" Zu rims available now though which do fit and are very similar to the Mach 5's

That's what I wanted to hear, thank you kind Sir!
Tell me, I assume I now need to find a 19" spare to match as I'm currently running 18's?
Regards,
Jon.

Without damage to the drivetrain and possibly towing? Maybe keep some of that horrid tyre foam stuff on board instead?

I would recommend you get a 19" spare if you can and more especially if you are towing, I have driven on 2 x 18", a 19" and a space saver all at the same time ...but that was an emergency Existential Phenomenologist.

Thanks DG, now to track one down. Don't want anything special, just legal and the right size.
Regards, Jon..

difficult as there is a D4 alloy and a RR alloy that look almost the same. If these are th RR one, then they dont fit without a spacer. as the 2012 RR alloys foul the front brake calipers on a D3.
Al TDV6 XS Auto - Lugano Teal with Almond Leather, 20" Stormers, Shiny Tailpipes, DVD/TV, BAS Electrickery - and obligatory D3 sticker
Old - TDV6 S - Tonga with Ebony, 20" Stormers, satnav & DVD
