no brakes
hi
i have just experienced a major fault on my 2006 discovey
noticed that brake fluid light was on and while sitting at traffic
lights with my foot on brake and jeep in drive i noticed it was
creeping forward
drove for another few km's and noticed that brake pedal was spongy
pulled in and discovered brake fluid pouring out under the drivers door
called dealer and he discovered a brake pipe had come loose behind the
engine and had rubbed agianst engine causing it to crack
just a warning and wondering has this happened to anyone else
my advice would be to keep an eye on brake fluid level

Not heard of this as a genereal issue JM.
Oh and one other minor teensy weensy detail...... Please please please don't refer to your LAND ROVER Discovery as Jeep! It's probably what caused her to try committing mechanical suicide.....
BOT. Make sure the dealer rectifies any damage to the paintwork or fittings. Brake fluid & paintwork are not good partners. Did you think I would leave you crying,
When there's room in my D3 for 7,
Climb in here Joe we'll soon be flying,
I can go just as fast with 7.
