Mice Advice needed
Help my Disco is under rodent attack the bad news is they have gained access to the glove box and eaten all my polos. The good news is they have very fresh breath.
Assuming they haven’t opportunistically jumped in while I’ve had the door open, how would they get into a sealed cabin capable of wading through mighty rivers?

Check the rubber grommets for the wiring loom through the bulkhead
A friend of mine who worked in a garage once had a transit brought in with the heater not blowing when swiched on and they found that a rat living in the heating system had eaten the fan blades They teasted it out with a mars bar The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

He preferred eating rabbits (or small children) to eating mice but they would do as an appetiser !I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Surely if the OP has a D4, then he already has a cat!
Maybe it needs replacing?

I removed both cats from my D4 but it didn't make any difference to the performance

Just been out to purchase a couple of Little Nippers and some extra mature cheddar to see if i can tempt them out. No signs of them anywhere other than the glove box, where to supplement their diet of polos, they have snacked on my dash cam cable
If the nippers fail i will set Shaggy on them in his special mouser hat.

Aha good bait tips. I’ve loaded mature cheddar for tonight. Chocolate could be a problem, as I’m more likely to catch the mrs in the trap.
Are mice big enough to trigger the alarm? I’ve had it go off randomly a few times lately.D4 GS 12MY

Another vote for peanut butter, put the trap on the floor and tie the trap to something solid. Mice have been known to run with the trap stuck to them, the last thing you need is a dead mouse behind the dash.Derek
I have a million ideas, but, they all point to certain death.

Behind rear lights as mentioned.
Ive covered mine like so:-
Another entry point to check is the rubber grommet over the spare wheel winch in boot floor.
