Mine is a MY 2014 facelift XS with halogen lights. I would like to fit AFS Xenons if possible. Can anyone please advise me as to whether these lights would be a plug and play fit.

Thanks for that. I understand that upgraded lights will need enabling but I thought that the AFS facility was carried in the connecting plug.

Someone should come along shortly to confirm this but IMO to get AFS to work you will need to source at least the AFS control unit and a lot of wires and connectors that then have to be hand made into replicating the missing AFS wiring loom ... Search on here for a D3 AFS retrofit .. Not for the faint hearted.
pics please if you do it on the D4 Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Thanks for your advice.
I think I am confused as to what AFS means and what cornering lights are. So far then if I fit xenons to my 2014 facelift XS they will just need enabling and I will have the DRL strip which also means that my existing DRL lights become indicators and there are no bending lights.
Hope I haven't got ahead of myself here.

Jonno, your statement/assumption with regard to xenons is exactly correct.
As previously stated to add AFS (swiveling lights) you need a lot more hardware and wiring.
There is a halfway house on D3 or pre facelift D4 with cornering lights (note not the same as AFS) but I can't remember if these were available without AFS on the facelift lights.

Many thanks Discoteca. That has sorted the way to go for me. I will be settling for xenons without AFS.
Thank you guys for your comments.

Still attempting to upgrade the lights on my 2014 facelift XS from halogens to xenons with signature drls. I can get hold of new xenons with signature lights but the supplier tells me that the signature lights won't work. I know the xenons can be enabled but on the new lights the indicator is where my existing drl is.
People on here have retrofitted up to 2013 but has anybody upgraded from 2014 onwards or am I in unknown territory? It's possible that when fitted and enabled I would only have headlights and not indicators or Drls.
Could the solution perhaps be to replace the front lighting loom?
All ideas welcome.

Yes the signature xenon headlamp units are a plug and play fit for the Halogen units. They just require a modification to the CCF. Beware that no Land Rover approved place will do this for you, you'll need someone independent of Land Rover with an IID or Autologic kit to sort this out. Well that was my experience anyway. I ended up refusing the car as unsafe with the diabolical Halogen candles but the dealers came up with a no cost to me upgrade to a slightly higher spec car.
