Best CCF edit / fault code reader & reset tool
Hi guys,
Many thanks to Beanie for his PMs...
Basically just changed my D3 for a D4 and need to add a new key.
Had the Disco3 for 6 years and received invaluable instruction and help from disco3.co.uk through all the repairs! Much money saved and knuckles damaged! Thanks all.
The thing is, many times I regretted not buying a CCF editor & fault code reader at the start of my D3 experience. Am thinking that this is my opportunity to invest for the next season of car ownership. I only need a single VIN.
I know this is really subjective - but I'd really appreciate your thoughts on the best tool. I guess the things that influence that are functionality, user friendliness, reliability & cost.
Also, any suggestions as to where to purchase at a good price?
In anticipation - thanks all!

The general consensus at the moment is the IID BlueTooth from GAP-Diagnostics. Island 4x4 seem to be the best price or you may be able to jump on DM's 'Group Buy' for a bit of discount. It closes tomorrow I believe.

I'm sure one of IID's sales representatives will be along shortly Cheers Ian

Seems an odd comment Ian; Mike has done sterling work putting the GB together for the benefit of others and he is not a sales rep.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Ahh, fair point but it was just after Mike's GB was mentioned so clarity would have been helpful as the intent behind the whistling emoticon is not always known.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948
