High beam assist

Does anyone know if high beam assist is something that can be activated on a MY16 landmark or does it need additional hardware?

Just wondering Smile

Additional hardware, the software can be enabled but without the sensors it won't work

Thanks washwipe. Looking at that thread it suggests that it can just be switched on for my16.

Strange how somebody on the other thread was able to just active it and it worked then Confused
Never mind. Sounds like lots of people with it don't like it anyway. Was just wondering if it was a simple case of switching it on.

Thanks

Ukraine

Used it a few times, concluded complete waste of rations. Wouldn't dip for cars going my way on the light of the tail lights, didn't react to oncoming lights a way away but far enough to think I need to be dipping. Empty road, on high beam, pass a road sign and they dip. Scared of their own reflection. Concluded best switched off and dip/high beam done old school style. Thumbs Up
