still no joy, can anyone share their ccf settings from a D4 with puddle lamps
My footwell lights and rear doors puddle lights working ok but fronts not lighting up
Tried all the ccf combo's : Approach lamps, Puddle lamps - Outer mirrors, so must be missing something simple. I guess it could be the loom isn't connected up front but i'd be surprised as everything else is working?

Not able to offer help, but seek information on the wiring for them.
Does it already exist in the mirror or door void ready for use?

yes, good point I thought about that too .

yes wiring there - but I didn't follow cable all the way through to see where its connected to at the other end (will try that this weekend) ... with it working on the rears ok though I would have thought more likely setting than wiring Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

I'm in a similar predicament. I have an HSE Lux which has the under door puddle lamps, and the under mirror puddle lamps. My under mirror lamps have mysteriously stopped working, but my under door lights are working!
I have seen the settings you refer to in iid ccf list, and I too have tried all combinations, and they seem to have no effect.
For your info, I have fitted LEDs to all the under door lamps, a long time ago, and they have always worked fine. My under mirror lights both ceased to function after a transmission oil change, and I can't fathom the link? All I used the iid for was monitoring the gearbox oil temps.
Very puzzled at the moment, and my next move is to pay a days subscription to Topix to fathom how these lights work.

Have you tried putting halogens back in?

Yes i'd been through your thread Gareth thinking it might help me but alas not
I've found a full ccf file that Daniele in Venice sent me a while ago and there is no mention on puddle lights on his HSE CCF either. I think it must not be connected at the other end of the lamp somewhere - door card to be back off this weekend to investigate.

I had the same, no front door puddle lights with the LED bulbs I had. I then tried a different pair from Dark Bluie and they worked. I think it's a resistance thing, the car seen very little resistance and thinks it's a short so cuts the juice. LEDs with nighters resistance work.

thanks DSL - I got the ones you recommended from Amazon for the others. Its a swamped market out there - any links for these "nighters resistance" bulbs you talk of

I can't remember where I got them for, HID4U or AF. It was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

When you have replaced the bulbs in the under door lamps make sure you let the car go to sleep and then try them. I replaced mine and couldn't get them to work but after a couple of days I realised they were working, well one of them was so rotated the non working bulb 180 degrees and after a while that one started working also, I think it helps to keep a sprig of lucky heather and a rabbits foot in the glovebox for good measure Cheers Ian
