Drove to LRE in Skipton - played about in a Defender for 3 hours for free - Drove home. Discovery = comfortable.
Drove to the tip and back 3 times. Discovery = Practical.
Drover round the West Pennine Moors trying to get the kid to sleep: Discovery = Inadvertently noisy.

Went out with a friend to do some testing and took the Disco along to act as a recovery vehicle in case anything went wrong.
Had a great day in car, as well as doing some photography and video work.
Though i will have to find a smoother mouting point for the in car stuff as the video was rather bouncy.
We were doing this.

My friends son had rolled the car at Crail some time ago and this is it after being re shelled and everything transferred over. Basically a shakedown to see if everything was running and working and that nothing was going to fail when it comes to entering the next event.
We managed to access some local land to use not too far from where we live which was a plus in case anything was needing to be tweeked or changed if it failed on us. Clutch needs adjusting as well as the handbrake in need of a bleed and that should hopefully be it sorted for the next test day. ATB

That's first. Did you post how you did it? "A society that will trade a little liberty for a little order will lose both- and deserve neither"

Not yet - still sorting it out.
Needless to say, far more effort went into the planning than the execution - this led to the job going fairly smoothly. Regards,

Went to Cornwall Friday morning from the Midlands, stuck on M5 of course.
6 adults, 1 young lad and a small camping type trailer for the luggage.
Just got back, 700 miles, returning 31mpg (dipped not readout - that was 31.6).
Pretty chuffed with the old bus.
54 plate S with 87k on it.
And the aircon and new cubby fridge on the go all the way there and back.
Used BP ultimate for this one.
