Just back from a seven up trip (all adults) from Windsor to Trier then return to Edinburgh; what a fabulous vehicle, comfortable, relaxed and just eats up the miles! Many thanks to Gary (bigcarpchaser) for the loan of the roofbox- a really useful addition.. Eurotunnel a bargain as it's per vehicle not per person! The perfect fleet - Discovery 3; Elise S1; Fireblade RRN; Canondale

ive just come back from a 600 mile round trip to the lakes , so so glad i was in the disco , thursday nite was some of the slippyest roads ive ever driven on , car sliding side ways on the camber of the road at one point so slippy then sat nav taking me up a hugely steep hill on to the top of a fell in sheet ice thank god for HDC foot brake not very effective but that done the trick
only got 25mpg but not the slowest driver

I went to City Hospital Nottingham, Renal Outpatients Clinic on the first anniversary of my kidney transplant (my wife donated). When I was dialysing and the snow was deep, crisp and even that vehicle was literally my lifeline. Since I've owned it, it has never so much as hiccuped (famous last words): mind you my trade in the Army was Groundcrewman/Driver-Signaller so I have a bit of a soft spot for all things Land Rover and, during my military career, I always tried to instill in my soldiers to look after their wagon and it will look after you. Oh, and for God's sake, give it some welly, ignore that burning smell, drive the bloody thing it's built that way for a reason. Happy days.

Drove from Thredbo back down into Victoria via the Alpine Way - dropped into Tom Groggin camping area just for a break - lovely spot to spend a few days, right beside the Murray River.

Drove down to Luton airport to pick up my girlfriend.
Importantly timed it so that I could call into Ashcroft's to pick up a centre console for my 110 beforehand.
