Any ideas what this little chap is?
Morning all.
I've just had the Disco 4 (MY14) serviced by a trusted local garage (first non main dealer service) and when taking off the under trays they found this little chap.
Last years service was the Cambelt so maybe something associated with that - any ideas what it is? It's a year since the service and nothing has exploded or shown up on the diags so i'm hoping whatever it is they dropped it, couldnt find it in the tray and replaced it.
Should I be scared

I think someone wiser than I will be along to say it's a bolt changed with the belts ... the old one. And must have been dropped during the job..

Thanks both - whatever it is I'm hoping it was dropped and replaced and hasn't just made its own way there over the last year!!!

It looks like a bolt that secures the cambelt cover to the engine...My D3 Build Thread
