[Swap] Disco 4 Rear Headlights
If any of you MY14 + crew have a lighter coloured car that you want to swap over for the more aesthetically pleasing MY13 lights I have some that I will swap - I will send you mine and will arrange collection of yours once you have swapped them over (even easier if you are near Southampton)
They will come off my 63 Plate 30K D4 (mint with no damage).
Will really only work well for those lighter coloured D4's or those that need more brightness from their reverse light
Thinking the MY14 ones will look good on my Loire Blue

Good luck with this, sounds like a big ask to me as everybody seems to be looking for the later black surround type. Take a look at ebay, plenty for sale on there and your D4 ones could be sold to a D3 owner for a rear light upgrade, also a popular thing to do and recover most of your money.

I think you are right Dave
Thought it was worth an ask. I had it in mind that it might be an option for anyone trading in their MY14 motors too, they could earn a couple of bottles of wine

Funnily enough, I did the swap the other way around
The reversing lamps are noticeably brighter (especially with decent LED's fitted) and they are a much better match for many of the paint colours 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4

In no rush, to the bay I will go
You could do what i did fella, I bought them separate by putting an alert for D4 lights into eBay,the nearside had a very small mark on it which is not visible unless you bend down and look very closely. I won that for £51 including postage and 4 months later won the offside in used but very good condition for £65 best offer and went and collected it myself. Thats if you are in no hurry. Set the alert up though as you get as soon as they put the item up for sale. The early bird and all that The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

Cheers Mark - I will set an alert and take it from there. Parts no longer needed will be on offer with a discount here first
(don't watch this space - it could take me ages!!)
