I could have driven past there today, but it's gone already! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: FL2 as a second car
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!
(One of only two known to exist in the world!)
Maglite offered a 3W drop-in LED upgrade for the 2-cell, 3-cell, and 4-cell C or D lights, which used the Luxeon III LED. This upgrade is being discontinued due to the older LED used, but there are aftermarket upgrades (including some with the Luxeon Rebel LED) available from manufacturers such as TerraLUX. For Mini Maglites, there are no OEM upgrades, but TerraLUX and Nite-Ize make 1W LED upgrades that will certainly improve the light’s usefulness.
NJSSAm I Gammon or Woke ? - I neither know nor care.

Halfords, Argos and the rest are notorious for having a headline grabbing price on something and then having no stocks. We could all do that!
The sceptic in me says its a way round the advertising/selling regs.

If they're proving to be a bit thin on the ground, I highly recommend these:
Very bright for the sizeD3 07 SE - still going strong
D3 07 HSE - gone to car heaven
FL1 - gone to Romania
D3 05 HSE - gone to a divorce diet
D1 V8 manual - gone but not forgotten
RR Classic - gone to car heaven
Jeeps, Lexus, X-trails... Too many to name..

Got Three of these Cree type torches. First came with rechargeable battery and charger, the next two came with only the 3 AAA battery cage, so bought two rechargeable batteries same as the first off e bay.
Great torches, one lives in the Disco others in house.
Much better than the Maglites I have had for years, but they were the best in their time.

Maybe more to do with trending strongly on a certain 'deals' site overnight.
Agree they are a bit old hat ...so build quality aside ...smaller, brighter, cheaper units are available
