Underbody maintance ( photos)
Well some more preventative maintenance
Checking the front drive shafts today car up on ramps I thought why not
Waxoyl out spray gun out and away we go
Ready to go
Half an hour later
And relax with a cup of tea
All transmission oil replaced
3 flash indicators
All timing belts changed
EPB serviced
De cat fitted
Wind deflectors
De-tango done
Tints fitted
Egr blanked

How did you avoid getting waxoyl all over the nice block paving? Richard

Not to thin to spray and before she came back brake cleaner and a rag works a treat

On ramps in gear handbrake on and a wooden chock just in case

Did you give the sills a seeing to inside and out? as i reckon these are going to be an issue as the cars age.

Did the inner sills as best I could fitting steps later on so all that will be getting done
If I've missed any it's because I am leaving that bit for later

It seems to be where the sills meet on the bottom and slightly overlap, well worth mixing a bit of engine oil with the chassis wax so it creeps better and doesnt dry out which waxoyl will, also be careful the wax doesnt block the drain slits in the bottom of the sills.
You will be amazed by the amount of dirt that comes out when the plastic sill cover is removed!

I actually like getting under mine to top up the waxoyl as often as I can
The last service I had they asked me if I cleaned it underneath on a regular basis they had not seen one as good underbelly as mine.

My mates totally get it since they have their hobby projects which require constant attention. The minions get it as they get to do “cool stuff”.
