Santa will come early this year
With 193000 km (~ 120000 miles) on the odometer the D3 will get the following:
- Scheduled for a transmission pan, filter, flush and oil change on Tuesday along with front+rear differential and transfer box oil change
- New set of studded Nokian HKPL 9 SUV tires at the end of October... Winter is coming
- New set of spark plugs
- New brake hoses and brake fluid Really Soon Now(tm)
If I had the extra dosh I'd get a D4 BT kit from Beanie and an ACM from somewhere but need to get the more critical things done first and hope he has a large set of kits stashed away

It's better to start with small items. They will be easier to hide from Mrs kajtzu.

Only the tires are visible components, right?
Mrs. kajtzu is quite happy driving a V70 and tends to avoid the disco while all the kids are really good at snitching what dad has now done

You'll get skilled. Just study the teachings of the Zen Master of All Things Delivered Whilst SWMBO is Away, otherwise known as Iggy. He has taken the skill to a new level.
PS You'll just have to tie deliveries for when kids are at school/out the country/set off on an errand that will allow deliveries (and fitting) to be completed.

Might have neglected to mention that most shipments go to my workplace although it is more because of silly logistical issues with the couriers ... the reception accepts them for me and I don't have to stick around waiting for UPS/FedEx/DHL/etc. between 8 and 17 at home ....... but it does have a rather large underground parking. #justsaying
This is the car last Wednesday when I changed new cornering lamps, high beams and managed to break a W5W position light somehow
Note the "professional" positioning of the grill to the side and off the ground during the scheduled operation.
