Interior Lights upgrade to LED - Is it worth it?
Hi guys,
I was thinking about getting the kit to upgrade my 2011 D4 Landmark interior lights to nice White LED ones, process looks pretty simple, and can get a pack of replacement bulbs for £80, but i just wanted to know if anyone on here can recommend it and if it's made much difference at all?
Thanks

Got all internal bar one with these (one to preserve night vision), all (bar front) puddle lights, numberplate lights (as floods for tailgate) and anywhere else I can think of.
LED vs filament for colour:

Also fitted some in SWMBO's car. Not a single element of a single bulb has failed. Well 'appy, as they say in eastenders.

Makes a huge difference, I started with the boot lights (2x courtesy and central unit) and upon seeing how much better that was, I quickly did the front and centre units as well.

I have steered away from doing this with my D3, reason being that I changed over
all the bulbs in my D2 to LED's and the bloody things blinded me whenever I got in the car.
Daylight was OK but when getting in in the dark, it took a few seconds before I could
Safely drive, such was their intensity..
I can see why you might change over the rear most internal bulbs as very useful being able to
see in the boot but the I'd personally avoid doing the ones above your head.

Hence why I've left the passanger side map reading light as original filament type. For the rest of the time the LEDs are brilliant.

I did the flat panel LEDs right through mine and it's fantastic, but bought two lower powered red LEDs instead for the two map reading lights instead of cool white, so I can use those without damaging night vision.D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten
