Are my injectors knackered? Experts advice please
My 06 d3 manual has until 2 days ago been running without fault
It now has a missfire / very lumpy idle all the time hot or cold
New fuel filter fitted and injector cleaner and driven 150 miles since fault occurrd and it hasnt improved
Over 1500 rpm car drives with plenty of power no smoke etc
Maf and map sensors visually checked and cleaned with elec spray
A week ago i added a professional biocide to the tank of diesel to kill anything nasty after summer
Phil has kindly let me use his iid tool and faults shown below
Injector values taken at idle every two seconds for ref
Can the wise ones on here please let me know their thoughts as to what a fix would involve and if injectors which ones look knackered
I have not had any EML lights at all to date
Thankyou in anticipation of hepful responses

I personally would just replace No5 and give the others chance to re balance, it worked for me when I had my No2 down in the 500’s. My Gap also said it had an internal leak.

Todays further twist
After injectors replaced the rough idle came back after 5 mins
So injectors removed and old ones back in.
All tests that have been done show injector pressures all over the place but injectors after testing say they are fine along with no fue contamination, fuel pumps all ok, wiring ok, rails ok, new fuel filter ok etc etc
Now diagnosed as maybe a failing dual mass fly wheel causing the rough idle? I hadnt considered this would ever cause such rough running, i hope so as this is best part of a grand and unlike the injectors that have been removed and not charged for the clutch isnt a amall job (5.5hrs labour)
We shall see if it sorts the problem out when its back tomorrow, if not its getting chopped in for an 09 Merc GL i have been to see today. Cant have a car that is starting to eat into my pockets big time and spoil the fun of ownership as much as i love the brand....................................................................................................

Seen a DMF begin to disintegrate at 240k miles. Original clutch too
Gave a vibration at idle, and when revved. However, all injector values were fine
Does the DMF rattle when the clutch is depressed slightly? My D3 Build Thread

Thanks DM
No noises or change of revs on depression of clutch
At idle it runs very tappety and sounds like a misfire
Gently increasing revs from idle to 1500 rpm is very lumpy and it hesitates going up and nearly stalls on the way back with a shudder at bottom revs
Driving wise its fine and goes pretty well through the gears but the missfire symptom can be felt slightly when free revving no drop off in performance in normal driving
Clutch doesnt slip or smell
Mechanic says he has exhausted all tests (injector specialist ) and says new injectors just moved the figures around the cylinders when replaced? And went on to say that he thinks the DMF inbalance is causing a missfuel of injectors?
Ive read a few posts mentioning the DMf causing bad idle but seems curious as upon start up after an evenings rest it kicks out plenty of gery/blue smoke until cylinders clear then it runs clean, just idles badly
Its an 06 with 108k and overly serviced so not looking at spending anything more on it as the current bill with investigation and clutch/dmf is likey to be a third of the cars value so far😳....................................................................................................

The DMF I had did not affect injector comps...
Did you only have 1 injector replaced, or more than 1?My D3 Build Thread

1 to begin with i believe DM, which moved the problem to another cylinder
He then moved the new one around swapping with others
Mech said he then tested the others but all found to be ok?....................................................................................................

Thats the issue
Ideally, the PCM needs around 200 miles to fully adapt to its new injector, then recheck the readings again...
