Disco 3 coil to air conversion

Hi all, I'm currently looking for a disco 3 to be used as a daily driver but also to be used for off roadtrips to Pyrenees, Portugal etc ( the wife doesn't fancy spending 2/3 weeks in my 110).
I have the option to buy a HSE from a friend (at the right money)that I know has been impeccably maintained but has been converted to coils, having driven modified ones that run on air with the ability to lift the suspension what is involved in returning one to air or should I just look for one non still on air
Thanks in advance
Mister C

I guess you'd need to speak to your friend or his garage and ask them what steps they took to remove the air system?

Have they just changed the air springs to coil springs and changed the setting in the CCF (I think that is what is required?) Or have they removed the air lines, valve blocks, tank, compressor etc?

Thumbs Up

if its a 7 seater its only been homologated (type approved) for use in the UK if on air, so "technically" not road legal. Only 5 seaters came with coils in the UK.

If lackie bands are tyres, sadly yes. And had to flog a set of new 18" ATRs with the be use of DB. Damn those bigger brakes, it's not like I drive fast enough to need them. Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry
