Problems with air compressor |
|
Im going nuts on my air compressor.
Its a Dunlop. I have changed the piston bearings and the seals around fhe compressor.
Not the little delivery valve yet.
Tested the compressor this night mounted on the disco3 but it wont run more than clop clop. As it breaks itself for blocked outlet. With the compressor inlet and outlet it will run smoothly but can be braked when i block the outlet.
Is the motor damaged?
Or can some more valves and been blocked due to the wore rests from the worn piston seals?
I have raised the vehicle with compressed technical air earlier with a schrädervalve in the tank and it works well.

Bumping the thread. Needs advice. We have blizzard here in Sweden so i need my disco😳. The compressor runs towards a backpressure and slows down and stops. Then the yellow light appears. Can it be a check valve that blocks or some errcodes that must be reseted?

if you are sure that air compressor is damaged buy a new one
else you need to find out from visual leakage test using soapy water and or from error code from OBD II tools
