If I will insist on buying used Land Rovers....

...I guess finding unfired 20 bore cartridges under the seats is a hazard of the trade.

Or a child’s gun - our son started on a .410 in his Grandad’s garden before showing he could knock clays down and then moving on with a shortened stock 20 bore...

I had the same issue with a recent RRC which was part skip, part kennel but certainly complete with cartridges for that added interest!
 D4 Commercial - 65 Plate, 2016MY

D5 Commercial - Handed back when I left that job…
D4 Commercial (2014MY) - gone
D4 Commercial SDV6 - Baltic Blue (also gone)
D1 300TDi... 2" lift, HD bumpers (both), detachable tow hitch, 9,500lb winch, 235/85/16 muds and plenty of other toys (gone to make way for the next toy...)

Smiles per Mile - Tornado Motorsports caged Evo 3... 100" Defender look-alike, with Range Rover running gear - all fully IVA'd and registered!

Ehh, don't mention .410s - sore point in our family at the moment!

The old man had a 12 bore and a really nice bolt-action 410 which I used to love shooting at the grandparent's place up in Scotland. He had the occasional visit from the old bill to check they were safely stored - normally chained through the trigger guards to a rafter in the loft with the 410's bolt and the 12's foreend in the safe. Apparently that's no longer enough and they needed to go in a locked gun cabinet secured to a wall, etc. As he doesn't shoot anymore (and without asking me) as he couldn't be doing with getting a gun cabinet he just handed both guns in to the local nick.

I *really* wanted that 410....

Yeah, it was a bit tricky selling their house when they moved on, explaining the 'lead dash' effect on the walls! Laughing
