First post here as a new Disco 4 owner. Loving the car and already I’ve found the forum super helpful and has assisted me getting AirPlay in the car and install a fridge.
Inevitably the battery failed on me with the car being 7 years old and no doubt having sat on forecourts for a while. I have successfully swapped it out but in doing so when I pulled it out I saw the green electrical connector pictured below just loose. I don’t think I pulled it out accidentally and I can’t see anywhere obvious it can go.
Having reinstalled the battery all seems well but it worries me that something is amiss. Does anyone know what it is for and should I be worried it is loose in my battery compartment?
Transit relay connector. It should be clipped into a blank somewhere to retain it.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8
