D4 stolen I’m I crazy to buy another one
Just had my d4stolen off my driveway,I still have all my keys. I would love to buy another d4 but am paranoid the thieving scumbags would come back for the replacement too.
Disklok is fine as a deterrent but it still requires some discipline to fit every time.
Is a tracker worth fitting? Cat6 or cat5
Auto watch ghost any one use this system?
Anything that is passive that you guys used to protect your pride and joy?
Cheers mick

Autowatch ghost for me. Even Land rover couldn't get into the obd when I took it in for some work but forgot to put it in service mode.

Depending on the model year (well it doesn’t work on mine) but keyless entry can easily be switched off with a few presses of buttons on the key. Then when the thieving scums’ entry piggyback widgets doesn’t work they’ll go elsewhere. We’ve survived for decades pressing buttons on key fobs.
Sadly there is no Android mobile phone app which keeps on getting promised but so far nothing has come of it.
I have been watching this for some time, and regret that they haven't kept their promises to develop an Android app.
I feel sorry for those who bought this expecting an Android app. to be available "shortly", as without a 'phone app. you need to enter your code every time you enter the vehicle.

Tracker and Disklock for me - feel for the OP - nightmare, but your discipline in fitting the heavy piece of metal means the vermin hopefully look for an easier target
Lots of car thefts round my area at the moment so I have a certain level of paranoia (though my D4 is 8 years old now)

You could try the old fashioned hidden circuit break switch to the fuel lift pump. It will take them too long to locate this, and anyway once they turn engine over with no start they'll soon scarper as otherwise they're drawing attention!

It seems that me that some of the best solutions are the ones we used back in the 80s they say keep it simple stupid 🤔
