Removing Cooling Fan Drive Pulley

Hi all,

I'm helping a friend replace the water pump and belts on his 2005 LR3 with the 4.4L V8.

We're struggling with something that I assume should be easy.

We've removed the three bolts holding on the cooling fan drive pulley, and the pulley does not want to come off. We've put liquid wrench on it several times, come back after days, and it still doesn't want to come off.

Is there some trick to removing this pulley?

It's the pulley shown on this page that's held in by three bolts: https://workshop-manuals.com/landrover/lr3...rive_belt/

Thanks for your thoughts.
