Exercise for people over 65
• Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room on each side.
• With a 5-lb. potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight out from
your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.
• Each day you’ll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer.
• After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb. potato bags. Then try 50-lb.
potato bags and eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb. potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I’m at this level.)
• After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag.D3 2.7 Zermatt silver (not another one)

Another bag lifting exercise:
Place a mug on the work surface - this requires lifting and possibly carrying the mug from where you last had it to the work surface),
Fill the mug with hot water (this generally requires lifting a kettle a couple of times)
Remove a tea bag from its storage container (box, tin, floor...)
Hold tea bag at arms length over the mug for as long as possible.
Drop tea bag into mug of hot water, stir and add milk to taste - sit down in comfortable chair, as after all that exercise you deserve a nice cuppa :whistle.Rob Smith

^^ I do that excersise a few time a day, although I add a dexterity angle to it as I prefer coffee so I have to concentrate to keep the granules on the spoon.
