Spotted a silver Discovery 3 for sale on the forecourt of Stratstones Stourbridge. Registration number was ?? 54 MUD.
I can't understand how the former owner would let the vehicle go with what looks like a cherished plate still attached. The plate has to be worth a couple of hundred quid to someone. Arctic Frost RR Sport. TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Tow pack, PTI, Privacy Glass, Tasmods, Mudflaps & a RRSport umbrella in the boot.

Just because the plate is on the car doesn't mean it comes with it. I bought a car with a personalised plate a few years back and didn't find out the plate was not included until we were doing the paperwork. Too much intellectual firepower can damage your common sense.

I second that comment. When I traded my wifes defender in For a D3, the defender ran around for 2-3 weeks after being sold with our private plate on - I believe it depends on how long Swansea take to sort out the paperwork Wish I had a D3, but at least I now have a Landie - YIPEE

Surely this has to be snapped up for someone's Disco3? Still available from DVLA, and with a sneaky small D and I stuck in front of the SC03 it would look great!
