Tow bar electrics
I phoned Paddock who told me that Land rover only do 7 pin or 13 pin , not a combined one.
Where can I get a combined one?
The guy who is going to fit it , told me to buy a genuine one as they automatically set up with the vehicle and give a light on the dash , is this so?

You’ll need a 7 pin to 13 pin adapter or other way round depending on your choice.
Genuine are def the way to go but they will not set up your car, CFF does that through a diagnostic tool and it will only do it as designed by LR with genuine sockets and eliminate any problems. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

What is being suggested is that you fit a LR 13 pin kit and buy separately a 13 to 7 pin adaptor. ( or vice versa). Then you cover most eventualities , see pic. of a 13 to 7 converter.
