I’ve gotten mine from a shoemaker/locksmith that’s at the local mall. He had a bunch of different sizes.
The D3 keys hang off the big ring on my key ring. I had the same system on the D4.

I have used small split rings purchased from a fishing tackle shop, which are available in a range of sizes, to provide additional articulation between the key fob and a larger key ring.

On that tack, I use a large (50lb ?) fishing line swivel between the fob and main keyring to make the whole bundle more flexible. Cut the soldered rings from the ends and use small keyrings to join, the keep the whole thing short.
Only a few pounds from ebay, but I found it very worthwhile.
