But if they are indeed using them for cannabis cultivation then they could in theory just break them off, but I would expect more damage to the bodywork..
However, if you look at one of the photos you can see the plastic nut behind the boot glass, which appears intact.. can you get a screwdriver in the gap?Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black

What I thought. You can (well I did) taken the lights out with only the upper tailgate open but you’d have to knacker the lights to get them out without opening said upper tailgate.

A year or two ago there was a spate of RRS rear light thefts. My guess is they're just nicking them to sell them back to the victims via ebay. Nice easy couple of hundred quid.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Nothing to do with cannabis growing, car lights would be totally inadequate you need lights within a particular spectrum for growing plants and for growing cannabis ther are better options than LED.==================================

Ahhh, . Understood.
Was wondering how you knew there were better light sources than LED for growing the whacky stuff, but it all now becomes clear.
It's halogen isn't it?

Nope, metal halide or MH then high pressure sodium to encourage bud formation. LED is improving all the time and is good for a lot of plants. I use T5 Grow Lights mainly because a dear friend gifted me his entire set up when he gave up through ill health.==================================
