Injection timing
Evening all,
I am losing my will to live with my D3, I had a fault with injector number 4 after a change I now have now lost the injection timing on the whole bank on the nearside of the engine it's a 2005 2.7 td if anyone has an idea that fixes it beer tokens will be sent

Is the inlet cam still going round

I had someone come round and plug in and it listed 4,5,6 with injection timing issue.
Did you replace the bad injector with the same type ? the timing is controlled by the PCM through the CSPS and the Camshaft PS, what your seeing is probably a cascade error masking the real fault.

Hi yes I replaced like for like initially, when it failed the AA diagnosed injector number 4 as giving zero feedback, so I replaced that injector and it ran well for about 2 miles then it dropped into limp mode and now it won't start and list 456 as injection tin timing issue.
Driving me madcan't make sense of it.
