Hi guys,
D3 4.0 V6 - I fitted a new radiator a few days ago and have since noticed it takes ages to reach operating temp and to get warm air. I've looked at the live data and if I'm cruising it'll sit around 75c, indicating the thermostat is still closed (stays closed until 88c and fully open at 95c). When stationary it'll obviously warm up but the highest I've seen is 92c, when I take off again it'll drop back to 80-odd.
Am I looking at a bad thermostat - which just happened to fail at the same time as the radiator (which I only replaced because I snapped the hose fitting at the top), or just a really efficient radiator?
Not getting any codes re: low temp or anything else unusual. The manual says if the coolant temp fails the ECM will use the oil temp sensor as a backup so maybe I'll check that data as well..

If the thermostat is the original then it may be wise to replace it.
