Help identify these parts please.
Hey all. So I picked up my first d3 (currently driving a d2). It has an issue with suspension down on bumps and numerous dash errors. Im going to invest in a gap iid tool to help investigate this, and will dig through these forums.
Right now I would appreciate help identifying some parts that came in the car so I can piece together some history. Can anyone identify these please? And why they may not be where they should?

L shaped bits look like part of the battery boxes, where the cables leave from.

Hey, I'll check those locations thanks.
It's a manual gearbox.

The reason I ask is the bit in the first picture reminds me of something you find on the gear stick if you put a after market gaiter on or change the knob. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen one before from back in the day of low fast cars 🙄

Yes it does seem like that. Mine is totally factory as far as I can tell, but I'll pull the gaiter and check.
As for 3 and 4 it looks like some sort of diaghphram or valve. It has the word motor and an arrow indicating direction into it. Looks like it fits on a tube.
I probably don't need to worry about it, but I feel like I need to know!

🤔 I’m not to sure then.. but looking a pic 3 it looks like it’s be remove with a flat head so it’s well seated wherever it goes. I got a list of things I need to to mine this weekend so will keep a eye out to see if I see anything similar if you havnt had any luck.
