With the magnetic fill-in panels (that are supplied) it makes for a very tidy installation when viewed with the tailgate down.
I have had a look at GearMate and lots of others but this looks like a quality product for the right money.
As always, appreciative of any insight (or alternatives).

Watching this with interest as I use my D4 commercial for work and being a carpenter it must be highly organised to overcome the smaller load area compared to previous vans. I'm torn between the cost of buying a twin drawer and the time and space I'd need to build my own.

These are a couple of alternatives I'm looking at but they're not as deep as the front runner one.

To be honest I looked at building one (electrical engineer so somewhat limited carpentry skills) and by the time you have bought all the materials (even the runners are not cheap) and found a method of anchoring it down (safely and properly) it all seemed not worth it.
I too have a Disco Commercial but I wanted a setup for a brew station and some supplies (plus hide some expensive meters behind a second layer of locks).
Unless someone comes up with a brilliant alternative I can see me ordering this after Xmas (there goes that word again)
I hope they have a New Year sale 8)"Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

They look OK but what sold Front Runner was the 'perfect fit' so it looked pucker (not a nasty afterthought).
That big one on Fleabay is approaching the same money and looks no where near as good.
Maybe SWMBO can buy me it as a present 8)"Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

I have the frontrunner installed in my D3. Pricey, but a great bit of kit, highly practical and fully compartmentalises the rear space. In addition to the drawers themselves, they create other little storage areas down each side and even between the rear seats and drawer end and all concealed under carpeted panels.
Take about 30 mins to fit, and you'll need two peeps to lift as bulky and heavy, but this equals robust. They arrive palleted so pretty much lift, place in and secure. The side bits require a bit of patience, but not stressful.
I would recommend.D3 HSE V8...

To add, the frontrunner cub boxes will fit in the left drawer as will their flat pack boxes. I have two hard and one flat and in the smaller right drawer (width wise) I have some Camp Cover wolf pack inserts and they fit perfectly.
Will post a few picks and link to various if interested. D3 HSE V8...

Not sure if these are actually that helpful, but I think they show just how good the custom fit is in the discovery 3/4 - happy to shoot ( - well point the phone) for any specifics if needed.

The front runner boxes vary in price considerably across the web so pays to shop around.
The CampCover inserts are from ebay, but other sellers are available.D3 HSE V8...

That's perfect thank you
It shows me I am looking at the right thing for my needs. Again thank you for taking the time to show me.
I will do some loitering to see if they have a New Year sale.
Do have a good week.

Kilovolt, I've found these whilst searching for an alternative they come with the side panels to look more factory and look ok for the price. The company is based in Derby (4×4direct) so I'll try and get over there to have a look and report back. Just thought you might be interested as you're looking at drawers too
